Mauritanian laboratory building their capacity on ISO 17025

Several sectors of the Mauritanian government departments related to agriculture, equipment and transport, trade, health, the environment, higher education, hydraulics, and sanitation have took part in the training session on ISO 17025, for technicians and laboratory staff of the various departments.

Scheduled from 16 to 18 January 2017 in Nouakchott, Mauritania, this training session is to strengthen the technical capacity of human resources of all national structures concerned by the management of this dossier, including the transport of chemicals. Several rich and varied topics were presented during the workshop by the key expert WP6 the European Union's program PR 35 Alain MARTINEZ.

These themes through open discussion and exchange of experiences between each other will undoubtedly now allow Mauritanian laboratory to meet the requirements of ISO 17025 in the exercise of their functions.

This workshop is organized by the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD) - Mauritania through the support of the P35 project. It is funded by the European Union in the field of Management of Hazardous Chemical and Biological waste to the environment in several African countries.
